What's an award without a party? Manhattan Media likes to honor schools, teachers and principals in person at an evening celebration, usually hosted by Pulitzer Prize-winner Frank McCourt. You may know him as the author of Angela's Ashes, but he also penned Teacher Man, a memoir of his days as a New York City public school teacher, many of which were spent teaching English to Stuyvesant High School students.
